thats what it looks like to me
Way too many variables to answer that without knowing the overall condition of the shotgun. If it's in excellent shape it could fetch up to $1k or so. In poor condition maybe only $300. Got pics?I have a Winchester model 12 - 16 ga. shotgun

anyone know how much this might be worth?
i will post pics as soon as my replacement camera arrives in the mail. its in good shape, though it does shows signs of use. the bluing on the receiver is spotted but there is no rust. there are wear marks on the magazine from the slide. The action is in great shape. The gun overall seems to be in good shape. I'm not interested in selling it, so the value of it isn't so important (though I am interested). what i really want to know is would it be a better idea to stick it in a gun cabinet, or can i take it out and use it to hunt? i am highly confident that it is in working condition, my dad had it cleaned and inspected by a gunsmith a couple of years ago. he said it was in good shooting condition. i just want to know if it would be stupid to take such a nice antique out to hunt some pheasant with.Way too many variables to answer that without knowing the overall condition of the shotgun. I'd hate to change such a great piece. I am going hunting now....online for 2 9/16 shells. Thanks ExMil.Ahem! 2 3/4" shells (2.750 ) will not chamber in a gun chambered at 2 9/16" (2.562 )The action will not close.Your best bet if you don't mind an alteration that can't be seen is to have the chamber lengthened by a compatent gunsmith.JM2CW
