American Handgunner Comments

Yesterday, I received two of my favorite magazines, American Handgunner and Guns Magazine. While glancing at them, I noticed that American Handgunner had an article on .380's that included tests on several .380's including Hi-Point. After reading this article I was quite pleased to see the comments about this pistol. Without quoting the author in this lengthy test, the biggest positive he had was he went out and purchased two CF-380's for his own collection. Good article to quiet the Hi-Point bashers.

Wow you can read American Handgunner online for free.. wonder how they manage that.

Thats awesome, I have the 380 and its a nice shooter. :D
Great Link

It is obvious that Hi Point's can hold their own with any number of guns. This review paints a totally different picture of the 380 than the snobs would suspect. Thanks for posting it.
I read this also and was happy to see a positive review. He certainly acknowledged the "bias" out there against Hi Points (we have all heard it), but presented an accurate an fair review. If you give these "boat anchors" a chance they will win you over.
I just got my copy of "American Handgunner" this afternoon. I turned directly to the article and one could say that the author was enthusiastic in his review of Hi Point. I was indeed heartwarming.
Yay.

Get your Hi Points now while you can still afford them... after people start reading articles like this one and begin to realize that Hi Points aren't your average every day Saturday Night Special, the prices will go up even further. (but they will still be 1/2 the cost of others)

I've been wanting to get one of each of the Hi Points currently made, so I should probably get a CF380, a C9, a .40ACP, a 4095 (if I can find one), and a 4595 (if they ever get released). Hopefully I can get all these in the next year or so.

Good article though.
Great article....but, I really don`t need someone else to tell me what I like.
Excellent review of all the firearms tested. A very informative article, and I am especially happy to see that the Hi-Point was given its due.
Add another BIG one in the plus column for Hi-Point :D

Thanks for the headsup, love Guns and AH magazines!
Outstanding review..... Gotta love the HP baby!
Thanks for the link. It's now in my favorites. For all you C&R fans, check out the article on the Nagant revolver.
i am not saying the 380 is no good as i have one.... but have you ever seen a bad review of a gun in a magazine like this. it makes me wonder if the manufacturers pay for them as "ads".
I was just recently having to defend the hi-point in another forum I frequent. The whole "you get what you pay for" argument. Funny part was that it began with somebody asking about jimenez firearms.
Thanks for the link. It's now in my favorites. For all you C&R fans, check out the article on the Nagant revolver.
He was pretty unkind to the Nagant.

Yup, I have heard unkind rhetoric from others in the past. Let them bash, I have a fondness for mine.
