I just traded my 1900 Swedish Mauser, which was not a numbers matching gun but it was a great shooter, for the gun in the pics below, a No.1 Mark lll British Lee Enfield which is all matching and original. It does have the stock repair behind the bolt but other than that I feel this is going to be a superb addition to my collection since I am just now venturing into the world of Lee Enfields.

another great find. i'm impressed. i bought 4 modern guns this week. i gotta get some more C&R's though, maybe next month. where do you keep them all? My safe is full and i'm resorting to a converted closet in my music room.

Very nice. Any signs of green or yellow paint in the crannies of the nosecap or under the front of the top handguard? I think that stock split must be epidemic in Enfields, mine has one in the same spot, but it looks like a repair will be easy.

Nice trade.
