i just purchased a 380HC from a friend, and have fired at least 500 rounds out back in all types of weather with remington and the company hated winchester white box 95g FMJ without a single error, misfire or jam. the gun itself looks 'weathered', and to my knowledge has only been cleaned once and seemed much smoother dirty. the consistency and grouping is more precise than any other (hand)gun i have, or have fired. at 30 ft. its no more than 3-5 inches firing very rapidly. the slide still locks open every time, and i would trust it before my bersa in anyones hands except an enemy. mostly i see haters of HP guns on other sites, sure there are manufacture defects here and there, as is the case with every company that manufactures any type of product, but i would challenge anyone with any handgun against a THIS 380. i cant seen to find most of the ammo suggested by more experienced gun enthusiast, why the sudden shortage of ammo everywhere? would i be wrong in assuming our bs government is slowing the ability to defend even our own property :devilsidesmile:......?

While I can't confirm or deny any gov. involvement in the current ammo shortage, I will say it's more likely due to more people buying guns since nov. 08. And the fact that some are hording as much as they can afford! IMHO. Oh! by the way! :welcome:

Alot of it is still supply and demand. All of the ammo makers are running 24 /7 to get caught up. it is slowly but surly begining to pop up.

thanx for the warm welcome, and just for the record, i had my 1st jam directly after cleaning it today, i knew better- but i fired the rest of the 50 round box without fail, like i said, i think they like to be dirty~ i got it on video, but i havn't up-loaded it. that 380 is more consistent than any other (hand)gun ive owned as far as grouping and dependability~ and for the record as well, i do think we are being stripped of our gun rights by one seriously screwed up govnmt. look up Zeitgeist (movie). and give it 10 minutes, if u aren't interested, dont hold it against me, but it has some spectacular points. this is why im building an arsenal and showin my girl and 2 daughters to defend themselves fiercely. two of the three are really close to where i have practiced to be for yrs, i love it and put a hi-point in there hands nearly every day.

i shoot nothing but my own lead SWC's through my 380 buying factory ammo, or even the bullets themselves for reloading, is for suckers.
