    It is hard plastic
It actually makes the gun shorter by 2"-3"
They are no longer being made, BUT, Dunham's in Springfield, Ohio has 2-3 on the shelf for like $79

I think he is just talking about the butt pad. It looks rubber to me. Probably adds an inch.

I was curious about these also, but never quite enough to track one down. That's a good price though.
I googled ATI HI-POINT BUTTPAD, and in the pack of images of an attachment photo, I saw this one, lol.

That is a nice butt-pad indeed, as long as it came with a paper bag and a clapper to kill the lights.

I picked up my ATI and felt it, it is hard plastic?
As I look into my guncase, the ATI is about 2" shorter than my other
    3-995's?

The butt pad is a seperate part that did not come with the stock. Based on this picture it looks like it would add a little extra length.

Ok, I guess mine don't have a butt pad. It is hard plastic

The black one was my 6th ATI conversion. The SS one was my 3rd one. I've had a lot of fun, they were all different!
