HR1207 - the "Federal Reserve Transparancy Act of 2009" now has 273 co-sponsors in congress. It's sister bill in the senate has 8 co-sponsors. This is big news as it would give congress the power to make the Federal reserve lackey's Bernanke, Paulson, Geithner etc. etc. legally bound to show the fed's books and release internal memo's and such. I say it's high time we see some real govt. transparency. Remeber, if you want to know where the power is just follow the money.
Remeber these two things
"The love of money is the root of all evil"
And the only time Jesus used violence was when he cast the money changers from the temple.
So call up your rep and tell em what you think. If we get it to 290 cosponsors it can't be vetoed.
And you can read the text of the bill here
