I am just curious to hear from those that have sent in their Hi Points for repairs on how long it takes you to get your firearm back. I haven't had to use the warranty yet,but curious to hear from those who have.

What kind of problem did you have, and how long did it take you to get it back?

My buddy bought my hi point, completely disassembled it, painted the slide and the grips(very poorly I might add), and lost a bunch of parts. I bought the pile of parts back from him and sent it in to the mothership explaining what had happened. They completely replaced the grips, slide, mag safety, sights, and gave me two free mags. I sent it off on a Friday and got it back ten days later. Amazing customer service!! Tell me another gun company that would basically send you a new gun because of the gunowners bad modifications.

That is an awesome story.

I just posted a thread like this in the carbine forum. It would seem that about 6 to 7 business days is the norm.

My added question is do they email you the tracking number so you know when it's coming?

I just spoke to them today and they said 2 weeks turn around. But from what everyone has said around here 7-10 is normal. I imagine they say 2 weeks to cover themselves. They also said they only ship on Thursdays so timing the arrival of your gun to them and back is centered around that.
