Not sure this is where to ask but is there a base plate for the 995 like the ones for the 4095 and45 model

Good Question, but what do you mean by "base plate"?
    Bottom of magazine, correct?

The only reason I would want to go to that is that it might allow more rounds
in the 995 magazine, but maybe just one, two TOPS. Most want to rid the
4095 and 4595 of the "battery pack" look.
The ONLY place to get the base plate for a 995 mag that "might fit, might add rounds" would be the C9 10 round magazine. It is only available from MoM,
and the C9, 10 round mag is different from the 995, 10 round magazine, and
not totally a perfect fit in interchange between the carbine and handgun.
The C9 mags do not work in the 995 and the 995 mag is loose in the C9.

C9's "Battery Pack" base on the 995 mag will possibly work
on the 995 mag, and it may add 1 round of overall capacity.
If there is no capacity gain, I would not do it, YMMV :D

If you put a C-9 battery pack on a 995 magazine you'll have a brand new C-9 10 round magazine.

    A 995 magazine is basically a 10 rounder with a 8 rounder base.

I've been away for a while and lovin my hipoint rifles. I attaching 1911 baseplates on my 9mm carbine they facilitate more manageable loading of the firearm. I love you guys calling the baseplate on the 4095 battery packe. What ever they are much easier to reload that my 995 without adding an extention on the magazine. OOOHHH BOY!!! Those Redball magazines have all but made me all put down my 4095 which is/was my by the bed gun. I feel more sure loading the 4095 with the "battery pack than loading the 995 even with the added 1/4 in added be mag extentions. Thanks for letting me ramble! Hipoint rifles are like a baby waiting to be fed!!!!
