Beretta 92fs vs Taurus PT92

Ive always fancied myself a Beretta 92fs or even a 96, but for the sake of this post we shall leave it with the 92. Ive noticed the Taurus PT92 looks identical to the Beretta. Can you, the all knowing members of HPFF give me some insights as to the pros and cons of each weapon? Personal experiences with either one, good or bad are greatly welcomed. I look forward to reading what you all have to say. :D

OP: I'm having the same debate right now. I have always shot Beretta or Sig pistols, but the Taurus 92 has me intrigued. I went and handled them both side by side, one in one hand other in opposite hand. The only thing I have not done yet is put rounds down the pipes on both guns at the same range trip.

The frame vs slide safety is forcing me to make a decision in the end I guess as it's about the only major discernible difference.

The Taurus is made in a former Beretta plant by the same people who made the original 92 for the Brazilian military.

Though with full disclosure there are times when Beretta factory service is atrocious...but everyone can't be HP
