Well after spending all day constantly racking my brain over it, I have decided to go for this pistol, if I can find one. Found one of the first editions, #40 actually, but it's pricey, 675. Good deal if I had wanted one to stick in the safe, but it will be a carry, so low number wont help me any. Must hunt one down now, time to get off my butt and get my local drivers license, apply for my pistol permit, and hunt one down.

Don't be in a real hurry.. Let them work a few bugs out. Remember these guns have not been through the same torture tests the XD and the Glock have. It can take some time to get things worked out. For $675 they sure better have everything worked out.

ive actually heard of people having problems with the first edition PPS after 600 or so rounds, that would be something to research...

Got a Walther PPS coming in on Tuesday, probably wont be able to pick it up till later in the week, but I am so stoked to be getting it. I want to thankyou 1motion for sparking my interest in this fine little beauty. I had pretty much given up hope on getting one since the only ones available seemed to be commanding a price point much higher then I was willing to spend, one joker on one of the auction sites had one for 750, and actually got it.
