Big Hands for C9

I am interested in the C9 full size pistol. I have very large hands. I have handled the Hi-point .40 but I have not had the chance to hold the C9 yet due to my local dealers sell them too quick. I like the grip of the .40 in my hand. How much difference is between the two regarding grips?

I own both the JHP 45 and the C-9. I have big hands and both feel comfortable in my hands.

I have very large hands, I wear a size 16 ring, the C9 is very comfortable for me to hold and shoot. Actually the C9 is supposed to be a compact pistol, but the grips are large. My Taurus PT99 large frame 9mm with Pachmeyer grips feels smaller than the C9 does.

yeah I have big meat hooks also and the c9 imo is a good fit.

I have used a Ruger P89 and a Ruger P90. However the Price of buying one of these Rugers would be the same as buying a HP .45 and HP .40. I am usually a revolver man, but I am eager to shoot one of these HP's.

My hands are small-to-medium - if the magazine is out of the gun my little finger has no place to go. So if you have big hands it might be an issue. Though the grips are wide, they're only about as long as a Walther

Thanks for the info. I have large and wide hands. I held the hp .40 and the grip was fine. although the mag was inside the pistol. It appears that I will either choose the .40 or .45.

I'm going to get the Hogue grips for mine, they feel good on my JHP 45.

they make a 10 rd mag for the c9, extends the grip considerably more...

+1 on the 10 rounder. It gives you a better grip location for your little finger.
