Representative Matt Gaetz has submitted a bill to one of the House Committees to literally abolish the ATF... unfortunately; this is another "feel good" bill; exactly because in order to actually abolish the ATF, or take steps to disband and defund it... Congress must also repeal these laws

National Firearms Act 1934

Gun Control Act 1968

parts of Firearms Owner Protection Act 1986 (Hughes Amendment particularly)

Whatever the Codes are that deals with the Sporting Clause and import bans

And the President, or whoever replaces Biden should also sign EOs to Overrule/overturn/nullify the EOs of import bans like the ones GH Bush signed....


There is a mountain of work to do to remove the reasons for ATF to continue to exist.. otherwise, the Feds would just have a Firearms branch in the FBI or Homeland Security to do exactly the same shit the ATF has been doing.

The ATF can be abolished with a single act of congress rolling the ATF in to the FBI, but having additional agencies like ICE and the ATF give them more directions to spread the "discretionary" funds for black bag operations. More ways to line pockets, bury bodies, hide mistakes, etc. They already took the A, the T, and the E away from them and gave those back to the treasury and FBI.

He also said they'll also go after the funding, the laws, and restrict their ability to "interpret" and create codes to do things that only congress can change.

Iv got a sick feeling that we cannot rely on SCOUS for a fair and honest judgment for much longer . The left is working on that as we speak and they are relentless!

Have you been paying attention to the NY situation where SCOTUS is giving the state plenty of rope to hang itself by publicly stating that they will not interfere with the state enforcing it's new laws AND encourage the new lawsuits against it to be pushed so that they'll be able to rule on it in the near future.

You watch. NY is going to single-handedly fuck up gun control for the rest of the nanny states.
