    A what?
Seriously I keep a couple of old toothbrushes in my cleaning kit.
    As well as old T-shirts.
    And engine oil and ATF.
There’s really no need for $18/oz snake oil or fancy gadgets or thingamajigs or doodads.

How do you get a toothbrush in there to clean a chamber?

I can't tell if it's a "soft" or not in the picture.
    Can you enlarge the image?

Not only do I have an old toothbrush, I also have pipe cleaners and foam-tipped swabs for those hard to reach places in my cleaning kit.

I think my Kel-Tec Sub-2000 was the dirtiest gun I've taken apart, when I put some MCarbo upgrades in it. The grime probably didn't make a difference because of where it was but man that thing was nasty inside when I took the stock apart.

Bob, you’re gonna fit right in here.

I have those gun cleaning “toothbrushes” with the smaller brush at one end, they reach into chambers pretty well.

But with the HP, I just drag a bore snake through it a few times, and call it good. As long as the thing chambers and fires rounds, I figure the chamber is clean enough.

    Thanks for the reply.

My question is, how do you bend that brush 90° to get it in the chamber?

I don’t, on most guns it’s easy to access the chamber in a straight line. If I ever need to get it into the Hi Point, I’ll just remove the slide. So far, I haven’t needed to. Though I have removed a slide a few times for basic 1500 round interval maintenance.

But if I DID want to bend it, I’d use a heat gun and make it happen. It’s just plastic.
The other option would be pliers and a regular brush. It’s not rocket surgery, I’ve bent metal, sometimes without even trying to.:(
