Bob, you say that like your ashamed to use Lee Liquid Alox? :D

I use it and like it very much for its economy and ease of use. I'll let you in on a secret replacement. It is every bit as good and much cheaper than Lee's Alox. I've used it on 1000's of rounds and like it very much. The link is posted below.

I got the quart bottle and just keep refilling my little Lee bottle with it. I cut it about 30% with mineral spirits and do 2 coatings. Hope this helps?
yeah i order from them too.
Sweet order made. No i am not ashamed at all of the lee stuff problem is i am out and it will be two weeks before any gets here. So i was wondering if there was anything at walmart or home depot or simialar store that anyones knows of. Thanks -Bob
Glad you got an order placed. I know of no substitute other than Johnsons Paste Wax. I've never used it but others have with mixed results. Look over on http://castboolits.gunloads.com/ and search under Johnsons Paste Wax for more info than you'll ever need.

Hope this helps.
you can fire lead bullets unlubed in a pinch as well.

Will it hurt anything? Or simply just remember to clean the barrel a bit more often? I just got a new mold for 45 and would like to work up a load before the snow starts in a week or two. So if you dont think it will hurt blasting off 50rnds or so i will give it a go thanks for the input. -Bob
your barrel will lead up faster but i dont think 50 rounds would hurt anything.
