I just got my bushman charging handle at I gotta admit at first I was a bit nervous about the fit of it. The bolt did not want t fint all the way down inside the handle causing it to rub the receiver cover before the bolt was tight.

Took it off and looked at it and there was the slightest bit of material left from the machining process. I cleaned it out with a flat head and now fits great and feels so much bettet than the factory roller. :D

Here is a pic if I can get it to work

I am seriously thinking of getting one also. Does it still lock open the breach like the OEM charging handle?

yes...and look at all the other goodies you can get for your 995.

anybody who owns a carbine should get one.
Hey jack, sorry for the lemmony handle. I do spot checks on every batch to make sure the machinery is not out of wack due to ware, looks like one got through.

If you dont mind me asking, where was the extra metal? Was it inside the square hole or was it on the metal sleve? Just so I can spot check the rest of the batch to make sure we dont have more stragglers here.

Eklypse 13, I believe that question is actually for you. My charging handle was fine when I got it. It was completely deburred and all sharp edges broken...like I ordered it from a big company or something. As was the rail and the supressor. (Fine work on the supressor BTW...I dig it the most)

I've bought 3 items from you. None of them required modifications or anything like that. I can't wait till the 4595 comes out so I can get some tricked out parts for it as well, cause I know you gonna corner the market on that one too.
Oops, yep, sorry, eklypse, same question stands.

Jack, I hope I can continue helping you spend money at my store ;-)

the "extra" metal was in the square portion of the charging handle that faces away from the rifle.

No big deal it was just a sliver of metal that was standing straight up preventing proper seating of the bolt.

I was curious how the shork attached to the end of the muzzle do I need to have it threaded? Also can I paint the charging handle and shork with black paint will it hold the paint?

I have not placed order for the muzle device yet but was considering it.
Ah, I sometimes get some metal pushed there when I press fit the steel sleeve. I'll check the rest to make sure they don't have any problem.

All my flash hiders fit over the barrel and are held in place by a #6 set screw on the bottom.

As far as painting, cant say. I know people have and have had different results.
I think bushman's charge handle should be standard issue.

Amen!

Is there a way to tighten the bolt all the way with out scratching the handle?

I went to the range this weekend and had to re tighten the garging hadle after every mag.
With the old roller I could tighten it down good and snug and it would not work loose. I dont want to locktite the bolt as I always have trouble removing bolt/screws that have been set with loctite.

Bushman, I could not find it on your store anywhere- What forms of payment do you accept?
