That's a hell of a deal on the G30, though.

gotcha. I am having trouble finding anything on this rifle. It probably has a non chrome lined barrel.

I would love to have the G30. It is on my gotta have list.

Never heard of that particular file before either. MSRP over $1,000 though. But it is a Bushmaster, so I would expect it to.

That Glock 30 does look like a good deal. Last Glock I held, the finger grooves didn't fit my hand though.

I bought the SF model, last year, for about $570 OTD and thought I'd gotten a good deal. That F&S price is astounding. If the G30 is on your gotta have list, then you should probably jump on this one.
  9. IMO thats an awesome deal.

for the 556 AND 22LR upper? Man i would eat that up if i have a Field and Stream, and just replace the lower in a year or so.

It's a Gen3 I prefer a G4. They don't sell on line. Doesn't matter right now I have extended myself on HP carbines. I am doing front brakes on the Yota this weekend, paid the phone and DSL, + car insurance.

When GAG had the carbon 15's they were below $600.

$650 is the normal price of a Gen 3 Glock 30?!

If there was a field and stream in Texas I would be all over that combo, screw the glock. For $450 I get 2 backup rifles. I am not a big fan of the polymer lower but I could live with it. My wife would still kill me as she would count it as 2 guns.

Forty bucks for 2 filp up rear sights, I have a spare reflex, and a 3-9 scope so it would be a cheap deal. Would just need a mount for the scope at around $50.

My bro is amazing with what he does with his G30. He has over 25,000 rounds through it.

    $650 for a G3 g30 is boutique gun store prices. $575 and cheaper is where I shop. I bought my G4 23 for $519

Thing is Armslist is overloaded with Glocks. So that is where I will probably buy as you can get lots of extras tossed in for $500 asking price.

Hell, keep the poly lower for the 22 upper and buy another lower for the 5.56. THEN tell her to complain about it being 2 individual guns.

A composite reciever destroys any chance. A $14 lower just doesnt score any points for me.

Nope poly sucks for a AR.

    Fixed it for ya.
  19. How many rounds would this carbon fiber Armalite style receiver last firing 5.56 x 45 ammunition? I have heard of 80 percent completed lower AR-15 receivers being made from polymer. They would maybe last for a few thousand rounds firing 5.56 x 45.

The polymer 80 percent lowers are great though for AR-15s because the firearms are unregistered. You finish them and assemble it yourself.
