C9 crooked rear sights?

is there anyone else out there that has crooked rear sights from the factory? it seems to be just the way it is. it kinda gets on my nerves a little but i can live with it if everyone else has the same issue. i think it is due to the type of screw being wider on the right side.

Mine is like that. The looks of it kinda brothered me at first, but after I shot it the first time I never noticed it again. That was several 100 rounds ago.

Thats right. It would get more traffic there. To me they seem to shoot great out of the box, and all the ones I've seen and or shot have all been up to my cosmetic standards. Maybe you could readjust them yourself.

As long as it's accurate or can be adjusted to be accurate, I wouldn't worry about it. To each his own!!!

here are some pics. i know there not the greatest, i hope u guys can see what im talking about. ive taken the whole rear sight assembly off and unthreaded and rethreaded the widage screw. i thought maybe the threads were off, but thats just the way it is. you cant really tell when your actually using them. it just bugs the crap out of me. i was mainly just wondering if mine was the only one like that. this is my second c-9. i had another one about ten years ago i dont remember it being like that new out of the box. thanks for the positive input.

Looks just like my sights. I am like you, it looks weird, but after I shot mine the first time I don't even take notice.

Just take a pair of pliers and twist it a little. Carefull not to twist too much.

I've tried that. It is the way the sight is threaded. It will not straighten out 100%. Like I told borncountry, use it. It is so slit that you never notice it.

The new C9 I bought on Tuesday had the rear sight twisted about 20 degrees to the right. I disassembled it .Threaded it back on and now it is perfectly straight.
