I have my pistol sighted in but the rear sight is set almost completly to the right, why?
Use the other eye?
Maybe the barrel is installed crooked...
PS: I see you have met our "resident smartA$$"
I was being serious. I've met a few that didn't know which eye was dominant.
So true,, my wife and middle daughter are right hand dominate,, shoot right handed,, but use their left eye to aim with
My rear sight is maxed out for elevation, and nearly all the way to the right for windage.. ( C9 )
I shoot with both eyes open
But you're still using your dominant eye.
At least you should.
I'm right handed but left eye dominant and shoot with both eyes open.
Let somebody else shoot the gun.
You've got two choices: it's your technique or the gun.
What! How does that work?
Modified Weaver stance and you can be cross dominant
Yeah when I took my 1st CC class we had two shooters who were righties but left eye dominant. It happens. The instructor hooked them up and they shot as well as anybody else in the class.
i'm left eye dominant but i can shoot comfortably with either hand, which would be the correct hand for someone who is left eye dominant?
The best way to get an answer is to call Hi Point. They will tell you everything about your gun. Straight to the point. They are the best in CS. Just sayin.
