I'm curious to know the difference in the weight of the slide on a C9 and the 9 mm carbine Breech Bolt.
Does anyone know or can somebody weigh the slide of the C9 for me? Thanks.

  2. I am curious if this is just out of curiosity or you have a thought behind wanting to know this info. Either way maybe someone is in the process of a strip down or is about to polish thier slide to be able to answer that question.

Just curious, no sinister plan involved lol. :) Obviously the recoil spring size is different, but is the recoil spring resistance and slide bolt weight different also? Also, the carbine uses a buffer in the stock, the handgun does not. How does the handgun compensate for not having a buffer? Just looking for info, not sure if anyone here could answer those questions, but the slide weight should be easy for someone who has the handgun.

    Thanks Swaga.
So The C9 slide looks like 1 pound 2 1/2 ounces. The bolt on my 995 and my TS, are both 1 pound 6 1/2 ounces, with the handle, firing pin and springs.
4 ounces heavier for the longer barrel.
