Ok, if you think a silly online quiz will tell you if you can be a Mensa member, you're probably not Mensa material.

With that being said, I did take the quiz just to see how I'd do.

Unfortunately, at the end, it doesn't even give you an approximate IQ score or tell you if you made it or not....stupid interwebs.

But, I am curious how ya'll will do.

    Here's my score

    I got 17 out of 20 right, or 85%

    Thanks. :)

I just grabbed the link from the page I was on. Normally that just defaults to the first part. I guess whoever set up the links weren't that smart :p

That's my story and I'm stickin to it ;)

    SO, what did you get?
  4. Didn't take it.
Took the actual Mensa test, got accepted, didn't bother after high school.

    That might be enough, Tall...

I did a Mensa "sample test" cold when I was about 24... and qualified. It
also had a timing element, had to finish under a certain time limit. But
now I imagine I would not, my IQ scores have actually gone down in informal
testing. But I concentrate my efforts on more narrow pursuits, and there it
has likely gone up. It's all related to your area of work, IMO.

As for my IQ, last one I did was "can you score higher than Obama"
    and I did :D

Yeah I did the mensa test way back in HS, at 55 I am not quite as quick thinking as I was back then... found them to be the most stuck up bunch of morons on earth when I went to a meeting. I do not call solving calculus in your head a good time! Not a one of them could change a tire, change oil, fish, hunt(got forbid do not give one of them a gun, probably shoot themselves)... zero common sense in the lot of them

I think Mary has it nailed.

If those folks are so freaking smart...why haven't they fixed everything yet?

    BTW...I was bored too.

    Your Results:
    Correct: 20
    Incorrect: 0
    Number Of Questions: 20
    Percent correct: 100%

Meh. So what? I also scored in the 99th percentile on the MAT...quite possibly the most useless test used to qualify for graduate level stuff.

Goes with my point earlier. You are in the 'educational system' and it is
oriented toward those folks. Relatively wide cross section of things that
they teach, but still limited to that type of thing. Biased to what they teach,
but covers most of that range.

Why did you only have 20 Q's and everyone else had 21? BS Flag time? :p
