So ive been contemplating the Glock 26 or 27. Id like a 27 so i can share ammo with my 4095TS. But, ive heard they can be rather snappy so that makes me lean towards the 26. But im stuck buying 2 ammo different ammo like i am now. Anyone have thoughts on this?

What I have heard is the 40 on the 19 frame wasn't holding up and that is why a lot of agency's went away from the Glock.

I had the 27 i transitioned away from the .40.

The 27 is a good gun but it is probably the snappiest of all the glocks. It is not impossible to shoot but it sure isn't 9mm.

I now have a 26 1 more round and far easier to keep on target for rapid follow up shots.

You could buy a 27 and use a conversion barrel to shoot or even carry the cheaper 9mm but you can not convert the 26 to .40.

It is snappy but I am just as accurate with 27 as I am with the glock 22. I went with the 4095 ts because of the extra .40 laying around. But the extra ammo has been disappearing quickly since the purchase of the 4095 ts.

Traitor??? Lol im not sellin a hipoint to do it. Lol i just want something thats a little more concealable and with baggy shorts i can pocket carry. Plus it holds more rounds. If the pm9 was a double stack is contemplate it. The 26 sounds like its a better choice. I know a Glock specialist at my LGS and he says not to shoot different ammo out of the same fun. He said the parts in the frame arent the same.

I have shot both and the 26 is way nicer, even my wife can shoot it comfortably. However if you want to stick with the .40 cal another option is to buy the mags for the 23 and with a sleeve and you can use it in the 27, more mag capacity and bigger handle while still very concealable and the larger grip cuts down on the snappiness of the gun. All the Glock mags will work, they just stick out more depending on which one you have in there.

Nothing wrong with buying a new or different band of gun, the only traitors in the Country IMO are the ones who want us to give up our guns for the sake of their fears.

Wouldn't the compact 10mm be snappier?

Mag Sharing is great, but we need an HP carbine that uses Glock Mags...
and handguns that do as well! :splits:  :splits:

Remember, the shop "expert" is thier 95% to sell you a gun to maximize shop profit, 3% to sell what's best for you, and 2% because he didnt go to college and couldn't get a high paying job. Dont really solely on his opinion.

The .45 is a lower-pressure round than the 10mm. My 30SF has a bit of snap to it, but it is very smooth and controllable.
