I installed a set of CAMO Grips on my C9. I like them, but I don't love them. Something seems to be missing. Thought about a paint job, but talked myself out of it.
Hi point doesnt do the dipping as an option after the sale. You buys the replacement grips dipped from the factory. Same with the new carbines, you can buy them in one of 3 i believe dipped patterns. But to the best of my knowledge you cant just have them dip your existing parts as they contract out the dip process.
From what I'm hearing, MoM is NOT doing any hydrodipping. Mid-Ohio Hydrographics is doing the work for them. You have to buy the gun already hydro-dipped? No sending your gun back. That is called custom work.
I have heard that MoM is only selling the Camo guns complete. Nothing sold by the piece. And Yes, all the new Camo work is being done by Joe Strassell, owner of Mid-Ohio Hydrographic's Inc. & I don't think he is doing any custom or one off orders, Yet?
