I haven't run across a thread about this yet, so I thought I'd start my own.

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to modify their factory 995 stock to take the C9 magazine. It would be cool (and handy) to share mags between the two 9mm weapons. It seems to me like it would be little more than just shortening the grip, but maybe I'm over simplifying this. The idea would be to mod the rifle so that both the C9 standard 8 round mag and the C9 10 round mag would work.

Has anyone tried this?

Setting aside for a moment whether or not it's a good idea to try this (and I haven't even convinced myself of that yet) how hard a project do you recon it would be?

Last night I modded my ATI 995 to fit my new C9 10 round mag. It seems to cycle well but I haven't fired it yet. Maybe this weekend. I'll post picks when complete. I looked at modding the factory stock but it has a metal insert that would need shaved/shortened. So the ATI looks to be an easier go.
