I had problems with the clip release on th c9 pistol .. The issue was hitting it while shooting causeing the clip to drop and cause jams .. I looked at my c9 and compared it with others my friends have and found they are all the same .. they stick out farther than the grips making it too easy to hit.. I took a dremel and ground it flush with the grips and this took care of my issue ... I think a new type of button cover would improve fit and function of the gun ..

I have the same problem. The release on my Sig is higher and more forward, and I don't have that problem with it. It's much more work to move the HP release, but I like your idea of grinding it down.
