Not technically a SNS but those cheapo SAA 22's chiappa makes are mostly zamak. The barrel and the chambers are apparently steel inserts. Pretty much everything else except for assorted small parts is zinc aluminium alloy.

I have the Chiappa in 17 HMR, because Heritage quit making them.

The Chiappa sucks compared to the Heritage.

Also...the dude needs to learn how to say "Cimmaron" and not "Camareon"

Still better than "cinnamon", like we get around here for Cimarron Drive...

Probably fair to call them the runt of the litter as far as single action 22's go.
I use one for practice with colibris. The most serious use I had for it was putting down a rabbit that zigged when it should've zagged while we were doing yard work.

  5. IIRC, Heritage made the final version of the Titan 25ACP. They also -albeit briefly- made a 9mm called the Stealth. However, Heritage really found their nitch with the Rough Rider.

There is some history with the Rough Rider: It which was originally marketed by EIG as the E15, then when EIG got out of the gun business it was picked up and sold by FIE (also as the E15) and Excam (as the TA76). I'm sure there have been incremental improvements to the gun over time.

Heritage also made a 38 snub nose called the Sentry. Only reason I know that is because I saw one on gunbroker at one point.
As for the rough rider, I like them quite well. Bought them for about $125 tax and all. Latest thing of theirs is the 22 carbine they've put out this past year. Soon as I see one in stock somewhere, I'll buy that.

Didn't Heritage do centerfire single actions at one time.

They still do. Made by Heritage using parts from Pietta. 5.5 or 4.75 barrel, .357 or 45 LC
