What would be your choice? Kel-Tec P-9, P-11 or Taurus Mil Pro 111? Why?

Biased Opinion:

Taurus, because I've been so terribly impressed with my PT 24/7. As of now, 200 rounds through her (mixed ammo) without a single solitary issue. Great weight, great balance, great materials...phenominal firearm.
Have you also looked at the Sccy ? Sccy

And your purpose for this purchase?
I had a pt140 and it was a great gun. Your talking a big size difference though. The keltec is more of a pocket gun where as the Taurus would need to be in some sort of concealed holster.

+1

That was something I also meant to mention but forgot.

Not sure I really understand your thoughts as the MilPro 111 is only 1/4" longer and 1/4" wider. This is from both websites specs.

Yeah, just saw one at a pawn shop last week. Think I want something with more of a track record.

Now that our shat Governor in Wisconsin said he is not running again, I am hopefull for CC to pass and that is what it would be used for.

Have you held them? The keltec seemed so much smaller and lighter to me.
Not the Kel-Tec yet......still trying to locate one locally.
These measurements are for the 3" barrels on both. Maybe that Taurus had a longer barrel. and I am aiming for a more slender gun. Thanks
I have a Kel-Tec P-11. While it is small, reliable, and easy to conceal, it has a strong recoil and a long trigger pull. I have not shot the Taurus, but I have held it. I am sure the Taurus would be much easier to shoot, but it is a bigger gun. If being able to carry in your pocket is not an issue, I would look at the Taurus over the Kel-Tec.
I have the PT-111 and the recoil is not bad and I have a Kel Tec P3AT as a BUG-24/7 pistol. The kel tec has a warranty like Hi Point and Taurus has Original owner lifetime warranty, which means you send in a warranty card. I haven't used the warranty on either one. The Taurus in a kholster and kel tec in a wallet holster works for me.
I WOULD GO WITH THE KELTEC. I OWNED A P-11 AND CURRENTLY OWN A 3AT. EXCELLENT GUNS NEVER A PROBLEM WITH EITHER. THE PF-9 FIXES THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH THE P-11 WHICH WAS THE LONG TRIGGER PULL. THAT IS ACTUALLY THE GUN I PLAN TO BUY NEXT.
Thanks for the info. WHY are you yelling at me though?? (Turn caps off)
If I might make a suggestion?

bout the same size as a PF9 and about the same price to. I haven't owned any but i'd like to eventually get a small 9mm and I'd prolly go with the PT709, looks pretty neat.
I biased toward Taurus, too, but the Kel-Tek is oka.
I really like my Kel-Tec PF-9 thus far. I went with the PF-9 over the P-11 due to the lighter trigger and the single stack mag makes the PF-9 slimmer.

THANKS, I'll for sure check it out.
I was going to recommend that too. sounds like its just slightly bigger than the pf9. I may haft to look into it myself!
I don't have any experience with the Taurus. I'd stay away from the P-11 if I was you, but the PF9 is a great gun and I can highly recommend that one.

Why stay away from the P11. I have a P11 and it has been totally reliable.
