Hello All,

I have a Colt Army Revolver that my dad bought me when I was a kid.
I was wondering how hard it is to find the components to fire gun.
It is a cap and ball design.
Is it still possible to get all the things I would need??
Just curious.

Powder, caps and balls are all still available, BP revolvers are very popular right now. However, if your revolver is a genuine Colt brand it may be worth a lot of $$$$, especially if it is unfired. You can buy a well made Italian replica of the gun for around $200.

Thanks guys.
We had it looked at like 18 years ago and the guy at the gun show said it was only worth 100 dollars, but he could have been trying to rip us off.
My dad has the gun right now, I will see about getting it from him.
