Colt Announces A Bolt Action Rifle - The CBX Precision Rifle System! -

In a surprising turn of events, Colt announced the introduction of a bolt-action precision rifle. Since CZ’s acquisition of Colt in 2021, we have wondered in what directions we’d see Colt move and now it seems that Colt will be leveraging some of CZ’s existing expertise in precision bolt action rifle design. The CBX Precision Rifle utilises a bolt design from the CZ 600 series of rifles, pairing it with a new aluminum chassis system developed with MDT which has a 6 o’clock ACRA rail and 3 and 9 o’clock M-LOK slots.

Treglia. The CBX Precision Rifle is available at Colt now at dealers nationwide.

I wonder how it compares to the Ruger Precision?
I'll have to wait until I get into better service to look up pics.

That means I have to remember to look up pics when I get into town later.

I need to start keeping an internet list. I don't know how many times I've said "I'll look that up when we get to town and it'll actually load in a timely fashion" followed later when we get back home by "Shit, I forgot to look that up when we were in town."

I am seeing more and more 6.5 x 48 Creedmoor on the ammo shelves in stores. Someone I know just got a 6.5 x 48 rifle. It is a round that is somewhat common now in my opinion. I wonder if the price of it will come down to around .308 Winchester? The 30-30 round appears to be slowly dying while 6.5 x 48 ammunition gains popularity.
True, you don't see many people with a 30-30 that don't either have grandkids or inherited it from a grandparent.
