I can not find a variable power compact scope that I like. Recommendations?

I'd get the UTG Bugbuster (3-9x32, 8") but I just do not like mil-dot or other 'crowded' reticles. Not after a red-dot or similar.

I like the BSA Sweet-22 2-7x32 AO scope but I know it would not last long on a 995.
I have tried 4x scopes; OK/good for off-hand shooting, but not bench.

99% of what I shoot is 25 and 50 yrd targets, bench and off-hand.

There’s a pile of 1-4x20 or 1-6x scopes out there. Leupold Freedom VX 1.5-4x20 is around $200, plain duplex reticle.

Do you have a fav site or two for scopes and other? (I stopped using Armslist a few months ago when they started their monthly fee.)

Nope. I buy what I want where the best deals I can find are.

Optics Planet, Natchez, Primary Arms...or wherever.

Monthly fee? I thought it was an annual fee.

Non-FFL users $3.99 a month.
I paid those fuckers $6.99 or $7.99 back in October and they never updated my account. Do not answer emails. And now have a "we aren't accepting new members at this time." So if someone has an add up I can't email them anymore. If they have a phone number? Yes.

Look at the Barska 3-9x42 IR Contour scope, I have it on my 1095. But if your only shooting 25-50yrd you should seriously look at a quality red dot. I have the Sig Romeo 5 on my 4095, and I drive nails at 50yd with it! You can get it for $150 and you got yourself a quality red dot!

That Barska could be just the thing! Thx!

Sure wish a RD would work for me but astigmatism ruins them for me. Have tried and returned a few (ask Amazon.)

Is the Armslist charges something State search related? I search MN and have been using it for a couple of years and never seen anything about a charge.
...
Search is free. But to post or email a seller/buyer a membership is needed. Yep... searches by state/city can be done.

I've emailed sellers and have an account but never have paid for an account (and I watch my card really close). Either my account fell thru a crack or.....
Maybe it's just a charge for Biden supporters? :stir: :rotfl:

Will maybe membership is just for listing guns/ammo on the site then. (I don't usually make mistakes but when I do...)
