Can you buy a Hipoint compensator and put in on any hipoint 380 or 9mm? Is there a special model they attatch to?

The barrel on the comps is longer, so I'd say no.... Someone else will probably have more detail, but I doubt even Mom will he of much help...

  3. The .380 and 9mm compensators are different sizes and are not interchangeable. The barrels for the compensators are longer and have a notch specifically made to attach the compensator.

I wonder if you could find the longer barrel to convert one?

There are at least several eBay sellers that 'specialize' in HiPoints, pretty much everything except the frame that has the serial numbers.
It may take a while but you should be able to find the longer barrel.

I wonder why they are different sizes when both are .355 caliber?

    GoesBang was right.

The compensators themselves, as well as the barrel outside dimensions, are identical on the C9 and CF380.

Really, I measured them to be certain.;)

I was right, but now I'm no longer right?

Damn. I hate it when I'm "left."

  11. Ajole, thanks for checking; it makes a lot more that those dimensions would be the same.
