    Hi Folks,

This is in the works. I'd like your thoughts. I do apologize for the poor pic; I got to the shop and realized I forgot my camera so I used my phone:

    Would include:

    Magazine toe shim
    Tang shim
    Front action shim
    Recoil lug shim
    Barrel pressure pad
    Modified interrupter

    and

    HV magazine

This should fix any feed jams/rimlock encountered on Mosin rifles and carbines.

I currently have one prototype out and another getting ready to go out.

I've been running one on my personal Mosin for quite a while and it won't jam up, period.

I'd like your thoughts. Is this something you'd like to see? It's designed to fix the "hopeless case" Mosins, the ones that have resisted fixes thus far.

    Opinions?

    Regards,

    Josh

Could use it to improve my 91/30 magazine for sure but the stock on it is decent.(had type 53 on the brain from the other thread on them!)

How is the interrupter modified? Just curious, and most of mine are the M91 1 piece ones.

Is this a fix for a worn out Mosin? I was just wondering because I have 3 and they work perfect the way they are.

  10. I was wondering the same thing. My Russian ladies have no problems.

    Hi Guys,

Sirex, I just tweak it so it's not so easily overridden.

HP-C9, wood can be crushed or shrink, and interrupters get worn out.

Some of the wartime stocks were not the best, either.

The accuracy shim kit gives you greater precision -- it's a type of bedding -- as well as giving you some room between the magazine and receiver.

The toe shim allows you to align the magazine correctly.

If you cannot load a stripper clip like this

.303 for Lee-Enfield shown; 7.62x54r Mosin should be staggered the same.

and, upon charging the magazine, have the Mosin function without rimlock, then there's some work to do.

    Regards,

    Josh

Oh ok I see now. I just bought some clips to try and was getting rim lock on one of my Mosins. I'll have to get one of the kits and try it out. I liked the looks of your sights too!!
