Couldn't resist...for boolit casters

    I think my Chemistry professor used this one on the front page of an exam... I'll send it to him just in case!

    Where's the tin? Sounds like swaged bullets to me.

    No, you need tin to get good flow for cast bullets. No tin means poor casting.
    Sb hardens, Sn improves flow.
     
  6. Often times, though perhaps not exactly, tin is referred to as antimony...

    So, do they also mean sodium when they say oxygen? Maybe by lead they meant zinc?
     
  8. Likely... you know chemists of old... they still though they could
    make gold from lead!!! ;)
