So I'm not sure if my question has already been answered in other threads, but the ones I looked at are all pretty old so I figured starting a new one wouldn't be bad, this site seems a bit dead so it couldn't hurt. Anyway as the title says are there any currently made sns guns out there besides phoenix? I guess heritage kinda counts along with NAA and cobra but I'm talking about the classic, small caliber, semi auto sns. Like Raven, Jennings, bryco etc. Does anyone still make these guns besides phoenix? Speaking of which does Phoenix still make a .25acp? Or anyone else for that matter? Doesn't seem like anyone makes .32acp anymore either. Just wondering cause I would like a few tiny guns just to have them and maybe one or two for my mom. I know I can just get used ones but I'm curious if companies still make them. They seem a bit difficult to find new. Thanks for any responses.

There's not much out there.

Phoenix still makes their HP pistols in both .22LR and .25ACP. And although Phoenix no longer makes their version of the Raven (the Phoenix Raven -which was a rebadged MP-25) they still offer a little support by the way of selling mags for Ravens, and at a reasonable price. Heritage used to make a version of the Titan .25 but they dropped it a long time ago; revolvers were their niche and they've pretty much nailed it. It's my opinion that Ruger brought out their Wrangler revolver due to Heritage's strong presence in the inexpensive revolver marketplace.

Jimenez Arms (formerly Jennings/Bryco) was sued to death and this time it appears there won't be a resurrection of the pistols; quality issues, coupled with firearms offered by the big manufacturers at lower prices, on top of high liability insurance costs really trampled the guns into oblivion.

Similarly, Cobra Enterprises (who manufactured a very limited selection of firearms formerly made by the former Davis, Lorcin, & Standard Arms companies) filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in February of 2020, the result of a numerous lawsuits. Bearman Industries appears to have picked up the derringer production but there's no indication they will move into the semi-auto business. Link: https://bearmanindustries.com

There is another .25 auto manufacturer out there, but they are DEFINITELY NOT in the "SNS" category: Precision Small Arms, makers of the PSA-25 pistol. Link: PRECISION SMALL ARMS, INC. > Categories

The PSA-25 is a Browning Baby manufactured under license from FN. PSAs are not to be confused with the defunct Bauer & Fraser .25 automatics which were unauthorized copies of the Browning Baby and nowhere near the quality.

Thanks for the responses. I figured there wasn't really much sns makers anymore I was just curious. How is the Phoenix? I have been eyeing it since I already pretty much have my main carry guns (FN 503 and a RIA 1911 full size) along with a Hi Point JHP and an old 1960s sears&robuck branded 12guage) can't really use the 12 guage though since it's been modified in such a way that it's not exactly ok to use. I wouldn't mind a few plinkers

Well op, I don't have anything helpful to contribute here, but if you see a titan tigress at any point in your searching, please share! I'd love to get my hands on one of those!

People gripe about the numerous "lawyer" safeties on the Phoenix pistols. However, it's worth noting that Phoenix has NOT been sued into oblivion like Cobra and Jimenez. The other thing people gripe about is that Phoenix states their pistols are only rated for standard velocity ammo.

Having said that, the main complaint about the Phoenix HP-22 is frame cracking as shown below. The mag wall is very thin and the area circled is subjected to a lot of stress. I've only seen this on the HP-22, never on the HP-25. And it never occurred on any of the HP-22s that I owned; perhaps because I followed their instructions and stuck to standard velocity ammo.

Early Phoenix HP pistols were assembled using dowel pins, while later pistols used roll pins. And the earlier HP pistols did not feature a trigger return spring, something that was sorely needed as the hammer would be cocked and the trigger pulled back. The below pic shows that condition, and BTW you'll see the dowel pin used to retain the trigger. This is easily rectified but installing a late trigger; mine came from a parts kit bought online.

I've owned three Phoenix HP pistols, and had the extended barrels for each of them, including the hard to find 5 inch barrel in .25ACP

Out of necessity, sadly I sold off the majority of my firearm collection before moving south  including the three HPs.
If I were to run across an Phoenix HP today at a reasonable price - say $100 or so, I'd buy it.

Taurus makes (made?) the PT25 PLY. I own a PT22 PLY (in .22LR) and it has run great for me, I imagine a .25 ACP version might be excellent... I just can't find the .25 ACP version anywhere in my area.

As far as .32 ACP, well the Keltec P32 is damn close to an SNS in size and cost but with the benefit of being a really good small pistol without any fuss.

IIRC, both the .25 and the .32 versions of that pistol are discontinued.

That blows, but makes sense.
It does, to both. I said no long ago that if I found a used one reasonable I'd probably buy it. My wife asked why I needed one of those. My answer - "Cos I don't have one" Made sense to her.

Yep, -well at least Taurus doesn't show a .25 or .32 PLY in their catalog.

OTOH, Beretta's catalog shows the 21A Bobcat in .22 and .25 and the 3032 Tomcat in .32. Unfortunately I've read bad stuff regarding cracked frames on the Tomcat and that, coupled with the price and it's girth relative to a KelTec P32, has kept me away.

Speaking of KelTec and discontinued pistolas, I was sorry to see KelTec that the P3AT has been discontinued.

All these folk having difficulty with cracked frames - did anybody think about adding epoxy to the side of the frame to strengthen it?
Inside the frame is where the magazine has to fit, and outside the frame is where the slide goes. You'd have to have some pretty thin epoxy to fit solely inside the crack and not interfere with functionality. However, someone on the defunct BJJA forum drilled a hole to stop the crack from spreading, it appeared to work, however I never heard it that permanently cured the issue.

Maybe a drop of epoxy into the drilled hole would permanently fix the cracking issue without interfering with the slide operation.

That is actually a tried and true method that is called "stop drilling" a crack. Instead of having the forces that created the initial crack focusing on the point of the crack, it is spread out along the material around the edge of the hole. It's a common practice in repairing sheet plastics, fiberglass, and metal. You would stop drill the crack and patch it.

At one point in time I was pursuing my Airframes and Powerplants (A&P) license in my down time when I was a Marine and I actually got to do OJT with VMM-365 - MAG-26 out of MCAS New River when they were still an HMM but I got to work and fly on several V-22 Ospreys during the change over. I finished my Airframes and Hydraulics portions but got discharged before I could finish Powerplants.
