Custom aluminum 995

Just finished up this 995. I have about 10 hours into it, including cutting the stock, building the aluminum shroud, making the stainless barrel shroud and buttstock. It has a side folding stock. It feels so different and much more solid than the factory Hi-Point stock.

Nice!
I like the look. But does that charging handle work smoothly? It appears a tad awkward to me.
Damn Andrew, you took the Target (yeah, right) out of Hi-Point and went straight to SWAT. Love the torching to give it a case-harden look. Nice touch.

It works great.

Thanks! I wanted something a little more heavy duty and solid.

You the first person to want a hi-point to be heavier. :)

It weighs less than factory. The aluminum shroud with pic rail, optic and folding adapter us lighter than the factory metal cover with sight.

Plus it's no longer flimsy and is rock solid.
