Dad's other gun

  1. Here are some pictures of a Remington 30-06 my dad gave me several years ago, his pump Winchester model 61 22 rifle (his first gun at 16) and the Model 94 that was my high school graduation present from my parents. I have shot the 22 a lot in the last 8 weeks or so.

Nothing like the look of aged stocks. Love it.

    Good looking guns!

My dad's guns were a Savage 110, a Savage model 99, and a Winchester model 1890 in .22WRF, the grandpappy to your slide fire.:)

That Remington wasn't the base model, it looks really good.

Love wooden stocks. Guns need to have looks and wood goes a long way.

Last gun I looked at had a composite stock made to look like wood.
Probably one of the reasons why I didn't buy.

Don't think that would look so cool. A stock's either wood or it isn't.
  9. Fake wood? Lame. I shot the 30-06 for the first time Monday, very nice to shoot and accurate
