In the late 1950s or early 1960s, Daisy began marketing a training system for instinctive shooting with their BB rifles developed by a man named "Lucky" McDaniel. The BB guns used for this system were deliberately manufactured without sights. Eventually Daisy marketed this system to the US Army, who interested in improving marksmanship and kill ratios for their soldiers, converted it into what is now known as the "Quick Kill" system. While the goals and training emphasis were different, the training systems themselves were essentially identical.

I have been watching for a hard copy of the original manual for quite a while now but they tend to be priced more than I want to spend. However, I recently came across a scan which someone had uploaded.
