Do i really need the front grip?

Go with the extra mags. HP's front grip sucks. You can get a better one off ebay for under $10.

 

You can get a MagPul AFG knock-off for about $5 if you don't mind airsoft parts.

I personally can't stand the vertical front grip. It's not comfortable for me and I shoot much accurately without it. Take the extra mags.

The 45 foregrips have piqued my interest, but I am yet to try.

 

Cheap Bastid. I payed $12 for the actual high quality MagPul.

 

Yep, definitely extra mags. Got my front grip off the bay for under 10 bucks. Don't really need, I just like the storage for wrenches and such.

Same here. The 995TS I bought my son was new and had the fore grip. He uses it but I never cared for it at all. My used 995TS didn't have one and I would have taken it off even if it did. Just never learned to shoot that way and it just isn't comfortable.

I took my vertical grip off my 995, just didn't like the looks. I no longer own a Hi point carbine, sold to a buddies son for his 18th Bday.

 

I didn't much care for the true vertical foregrip, but I didn't like the Magpul either. I like the FAB Defense AG-44S better:



It's more expensive the the Magpul knock-offs and many true vertical grips, but it seems to be suitable to my needs. I think it has more to due to it's more ergonomic than a vertical tube.

Yes, they shoot just FINE w/o a VFG.

I find the vertical foregrips uncomfortable....the ones that can be adjusted to a 45 degree angles are another story

I agree. I made that one you sent me useable with s washer, so it doesn't wobble, but it I would have to be desperate for a fg to use it. The one that TC sent, I like. Didn't really think I would like using it, found myself naturally using it, and it made shooting my 995ts even more comfortable.

 

You could sell that on eBay, possibly...

 

Maybe for a $1, lol! It looks really funny with the washer in it. It pushes the grip to one side. But it doesn't wobble anymore, lol!

 

It needs a smaller washer then. Something HP should have done...
