I'm really thinking of getting the 995; i need a longer range weapon, but the wife just won't let me get an AK or AR :) When i handled the pistols i found them to be a little top-heavy for my taste (i usually shoot a sig226, but i'm no gun snob, i own taurus, have owned bersas, etc).

So what's the skinny on the 995? Practical range, best tactical accessories?

:welcome: From South Carolina...Well, first off, the 995 does what a good carbine is supposed to do. It puts lead down range and it does it accurately. It is inexpensive, not "cheap". I own one and love it. Give it a try and you`ll be hooked.

:welcome: I just love my 995. You can't go wrong with any HP guns. As soon as I can find a 4095, I'm getting it.
