I've had a HP .380 for about 6 years. I don't shoot it much at all, but its had maybe 500-700 rounds through it. I keep it soley as using it as a step up from a .22 when I'm taking newbies to the range.

anyway, I have always had an issue with it double feeding with i have the mag full. I do all the normal tricks, tap the loaded mag to make sure all the rounds are lined up, measured the mag lips etc etc. The mags have been left fully loaded for literally years straight.

If I leave one round out, it is flawless. No issues at all. With a fully loaded mag, I have issues.

Are there anything known that I can do to fix this?

I would call HP and explain the problem. I know they will tell you what to do. Sounds like a problem with the mag to me.
