I wasn't sure where to put this one, but because it has an approval from the BATF I stuck it here.

When I first saw this before reading more I wonder who would want an all time double tap? Not me! Then I see it is a selectable dropin trigger group.

Ok, maybe a neat idea. Then the MSRP of around $500. Oh well, nice while that lasted. In all fairness, for a premium trigger that price isn't too bad. Shotshow video https://youtu.be/-_AOA7GCiJI and Gunsamerica article here HERE

Imagine pairing that with a bump fire stock. I wonder if that would even work

Should work, firing twice as fast?

All I have to say about this is is that the Sig Brace also came with an ATF letter that said you could legally shoulder it.....

    Other gem from the ATF....
WTF do they even bother approving it in the first place?
A single movement of the trigger should fire one projectile. Semantics but the return or reset should be part of the original movement as its returning to its resting or normal position.
So this is two projectiles on one trigger cycle.
Thank somebody I don't work for the ATF.

    I was wondering that myself.

You just KNOW someone is getting a phone call and a butt chewing about that soon.

One round per trigger pull, I guess they don't care how many on the release! ;)

  10. Now your talking. No shots on the pull, 3rd burst on the release.

Someone honestly this just seems stupid. I'd rather have a slide fire stock.

This sounds better than a bump fire stock.

When you go here lots of similar videos of different brands come up.

Gettem while they are HOT! (legal)

I agree, if this is one bullet on the pull, and another on the release,
it is a "legal" work-around, but that is 2 bullets per "trigger cycle"
which, in another scientifically provable argument, is the same as
"2 firings per trigger pull" or "2 firings per trigger cycle". Maybe
ATF will have to redefine "trigger pull" to "trigger cycle" because
we know that is what they mean. The PRICE is commensurate
with the MSR (Mole Sniper Rifle)
but the function is matched more to the MLC
which is the Mole Light Carbine for CQB.

Now I need to convince myself that "I NEED THIS" :D ;)

I can see the dual recoil impulse presenting a problem for the
slide fire sequence. The shooter is basically pulling the rifle forward
between each shot, not sure if the timing would create a problem or
not, with the "fire upon trigger release" impulse. Might work just fine,
and it would have a 2x firing rate. But the slide fire system seems to
have a nearly "FULL AUTO" rate of fire, could the mechanicals handle
a 1200 RPM rate? That is Mighty Fast!

Probably burn out a barrel real quick at that rate of fire.
    - or not - if you have a third tier AR......

    Sorry couldn't help myself ;)

Fixed. You can always buy a new/better barrel. They bEEz modular gunz! :D

  17. The ATF wasn't who defined it. It was Congress that defined it.

"(b) Machinegun The term “machinegun” means any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger. "

And a single function should be a pull and a reset.
This thing is going the way of the dodo before the end of the year.

Evidently you already have one on your mouse!

I guess the ATF will knock down everyone's door after hacking or demanding the sales records from the credit card companies or the seller to get them. Just like ammo sales.
