I've seen some posts where folks have had one of the HP carbines for 5, 10 and even 20 years. It would be interesting to see how long folks have had their carbines, what calibers they have them in and maybe even estimated round counts. I know I've had several hundred through my son's 995TS. And that's really not that much. IIRC, you don't even do the first cleaning until like 1500 rounds?

So if you've got some longevity on your carbine or some round counts, give a shout out :)

Very respectable round count, particularly for the 40S&W. Any issues?
I've had to work on a few mags that started sticking.

Run a brush down the barrel ever few hundred rounds, but don’t take it apart until that 1500 round mark, unless it acts up. Spray some lube in once in a while.

I wonder why the picked 1500 rounds as the number?
