I'm thinking, from what I have seen with my 995 and other ones, The one I just got has differences.
The bolt handle, the firing pin is totaly different, and it's missing one if the firing pin springs, also the bolt retaining piece, are way different then the other rifle I have, is this just a early model?

yeah what he said
Some people lose one of the springs when the do a take down.
I have to amit that I lost my spring in my .380...that's why I had to send it back to HP Company. :-[
What does your serial # start with? The A series is the oldest from the mid 90's.
The older style firing pins had only 1 spring & 2 small plastic sleeves.
The bolt handle could have been replaced with any standard bolt, 1/4-20 I believe is the size.

If it is older, then I would call HP & ask about sending it in for a "tune-up".
Ok, I got a chance to take it back apart, here it is, I got this as a "parts kit" the receiver has been de-milled (basically the front portion was removed)so I don't know the original serial number.

I doubt HP will take it back since it's been cut.
You can see there are some differences between the receivers and bolts, just slight ones.
And the other different parts are here as well. I didn't see any plastic sleeves for the firing pin.

There is one part that was in the bag that I can't figure where it goes.
It's the last pic, there is nothing like that on my newer 995 "Echo" model?

The one with the plasic trigger looks broken to me. Looks like the piece with the serial number is broken off. Where is the serial number on that one?
I got a "A" series one that im taking appart for the ATI stock.. need comparison pics?

From my post "I got this as a "parts kit" the receiver has been de-milled (basically the front portion was removed)so I don't know the original serial number."

I don't need pics, you can just tell me if the parts are the same, Thanks
Ok, it is an earlier model. The firing pin, and retainer pin tell me that. My C9 has a firing ping like the de-milled one. I have seen that type of retainer pin on earlier pistols as well.

Also, in this picture:

Looking right in front of the breech face, on the lower inside edge, the top receiver has a cut out where the bottom receiver does not, that is for the last right hold open (LRHO), IIRC.

The bolt handle looks like a hardware store replacement. The firing pin channels are slightly different, as are the extractors, safeties, and paint job.

If I had to venture a guess I would say that it is an A or B series. Do you have a stock for the parts kits one? Could you acquire a spare stock somehow? If so it would not hurt to call Mother and ask them about fixing her up right. You never know until you ask. The only thing going against you is the lack of serial number.

Without having the serial # they will not be able to do any work on it.
It truly is just a parts kit now.
That charging handle piece looks like Bushman's...if it fits a new 4095, I'll buy it off of you.
