This was posted on another forum I enjoy. I wanted to post it here and see the differences / similarities. What is your favorite firearm? What is your most used firearm?

I cheated and chose two favorites. Purely for sentimental reasons, 1917 S&W. Because it's fun to shoot, T53.
    Most used is the CF380.

I guess I don't have a favorite gun, but when I go out to shoot. I always take a 22LR, HP & hi caliber something?

  3. Most used, S&W M&P Shield 40, favorite S&W 629 5" DX, however when I was in competition my most used was my M&P 40 Pro. I have around 25,000 rounds through it.

I hate you because you have a 1917, I passed up a chance to buy one in the 90's for $100 and have been kicking myself ever since.

How did the M&P hold up with that many rounds, I have been advised to change out my recoil spring on my 357 SIG every 5000 rds.

My favourite shooter is my Hi-Point C9 9mm pistol.

My 2nd favorite is my Ruger Mk III .22 LR with standard bbl.

Then, it falls to a myriad of .22 LR weapons ~ Marlin Model 25N, Ruger 10/22, Henry AR-7, Marlin Model 60 SB...

    Favorite carry...P3AT. Just soooo easy.

Favorite pistol...East German Makarov, my first pistol.

Favorite semi rifle...Luxembourg FN 49...what the Garand should have been.

    Favorite bolt rifle...Swiss K31.

    Favorite "hunting" rifle...Savage 99 in 300 Savage.

Favorite rifle that will never be sold...Dad's Savage 99 in 30-30.

Favorite rimfire and shooter...another straight pull, the BRNO ZOM 451. With the Marlin 39A a close second.

They ain't women, we're allowed to have more than one, right?;)

Sacrilege and lies you heathen.

    "Favorite "hunting" rifle...Savage 99 in 300 Savage."

Great rifle and IMO very under rated. Out to 200 yards the perfect deer gun.

Only ones I own are on the list.

Favorite SD pistol: CZ 75 BD Police, man this is one sweet shooter

Favorite Plinking pistol: Ruger MKII Target

Favorite Plinking rifle: A tie between my 4595TS and the 10/22 Tactical Bunny Blaster. The Bunny Blaster has the edge due to ammo cost.

Only deer right now so it is my favorite: Ruger American 30-06.

Favorite Rimfire Bolt Action: The American 22 LR super accurate with the right ammo and cheap to shoot.

Best Zombie slayer will be a tie again: 4595TS and 10/22 Tactical Bunny Blaster.

The three I currently shoot the most are the 4595, 10/22, and CZ.

"They ain't women, we're allowed to have more than one, right?" I agree completely.

I told my wife my guns are like her purses. I need the right one for the occasion. So far she is buying that argument.;)

Be careful! I used that one on my wife. She likes to see. One day at the mall she comes to the register with about 6 sewing machines. I asked what's this? She said. One for hems. This one for seams. This for button holes.........

    My favorites right now?
My Taurus .357 and my Remington model 11 scattergun.
Have probably shot the .357 the least and the Model 11 I have yet to shoot.
Just like them best right now.
The other guns are more of the useful tool variety......

  12. favorite by far is my M1 Carbine, it is a 1943 Inland. I really have to limit how much I shoot it. No telling how many rounds have gone down that pipe. It is only slightly ahead of my H&R Garand.

Most used is the Ruger 22-45. It always goes to the range.

I have two favs: A WWII M1 Carbine and a 1973 Browning superposed Trap and Skeet gun. I don't shoot either very often.
The two I shoot the most are a Henry 22mag and a Bersa 9uc.

    Hee hee!:p

Adjustable gas system, no OP rod to break, 10 rounds in the mag, and the crowning glory...John Moses Browning was partially involved in the design.;)

I really like my Hakim too, the Swedes can engineer things pretty good as well.

But I gotta admit, for the first of it's type, serving as it did so reliably through two wars, the Garand was an amazing gun. I like mine too...just not quite as much as the FN. :)

It's between the 995TS and the Stingray-C. The former because I can't miss, the latter because of the CZ ergonomics and crisp trigger.

  17. Favorite, don't own - S&W 1911. Most used - Hi-Point C9! :D

  18. My JHP 45 is the most used and my favorite. 1750 round through it and it works great on reduced loads.
