Got a smokin deal at another LGS and on a Omni Hybrid 1/7 twist , the store wanted $599.99 but ended up with a 10% military discount that brought the price down to $540 . I then got a really good deal on a Magpul STR buttstock regularly $79 down to $72 also with the military discount

Total price including DROS was $685.94 , now comes the painful 10 day wait period

EVERYBODY should have an AR-15, Unless you would rather have an AK?
    I would rather have both!

    A AR180 doesn't sound like HP $$$, Maybe a wee bit more?

I still prefer the Tavor over the AR15. :p
Though I would like an AK47.
And the AR-57 is interesting with the PS-90 magazines being used

My friend was was doing the negotiating was making the store mgr sweat and getting him to drop the price . At one point he wasn't going to drop the price on the rifle but only the magpul buttstock but after hard negotiating we got the $60 off the rifle and $8 off the magpul stock

Re-thinking my optics package for my AR a maybe just use a good scope instead ,wonder how my 6-24x50 scope would work on it or maybe just use a good 3-9x32 CQB scope

Try to keep it under a $1k. Or just adopt a fellow leatherneck this Christmas.
