I tried it out a few times this weekend and I liked it. It probably not gonna be a regular thing.. but I liked it! I see why people do it. It's pretty liberating.

Yes it is.
I did it about two weeks ago for the first time and it was great.
I dont think I will do it all the time, but I am gonna start doing it more often that is for sure.

I OC around the property for any critters that want to mess with me and CC everywhere else.

once I get a better holster I'm going to start OC. RIght now the one I have is abit too floppy... but it works fine tucked into the belt. But I may OC one and keep my C9 Concealed, just in case
Awesome! I'd OC on my commute if Ohio didn't have a retarded law that says OC in your car is CC.
I OC when i walk my dog at night and i have oced in a store for the first time today, feels good now that i have a good holster. fyi its a blackhawk holster that has a button to press to unholster the gun a bit pricy but its comfy.
I OC in washington state just started . but will be doing more . i'm gonna get my cpl also which gives you a few more rights. as to where how and wen you can do so. but yip i love it . my .40 cal is a little big so i use my wife's 9mm to OC with.

What gun do you carry I was not aware of the black hawk for a HP
I'm packing around the house all the time. The facts are that the demographics have trended in a rather violent, anarchistic direction. We even had a home invasion here in Phoenix where they were wearing body armor. Sooooooooooo when i practice it is for head shots. To be hosest i'd rather carry the C 9 but it isn't DA SA like my Sig was. What i have on right now is Kel Tec P3AT with Hornady Critical Defense. It is DA DA!!! Someday maybe a Sigma??!! Yesterday afternoon there were 9, count em 9 Cop cars with in 50 yards of my modular home! The park manager said that gun shots were here heard and they had at least one little wannabe gangbanger sitting on the grass in cuffs!!!
Since the .gov decided to put the "Hoods" into my Neighborhood open carry is more common among us that have lived there for a while.

not wanting to hi jack...but how do your neighbors react?
good for you man...hopefully i will work up the gumption and give it a try, hopefully. but you know how people are man, they freak out about the wrong stuff.
Here in Az you see somebody OCing on a regular basis. The guy that is typing this does as well. :cool2: I have my kel-tec P3AT strapped on my left side. Hornady critical defense. It is black, the holster is black which makes the hole package inconspicuous and small. Ii don't think people even notice because it's on the left, it's backwards and obscure. And it's DA DA so there is a round chambered.

What we do have are quite a few places that display the "no weapons blah blah blah" Like libraries, down town public displays etc. Yes i know you don't need them in a library, but walking up central Ave in Phoenix or any number of places along the Light Rail paths are a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY. We were recreationally riding the light rail. Getting off where we wanted, walking where we wanted. Much of it in the downtown area. Not necessarily blighted, as a matter of fact, downtown Phoenix is really nice, HOWEVER. We have a mayor who's a complete WIMP, WOOS, PURE POLITICIAN. Police are a bit hamstrung. I want to be ahead of the curve, not behind. When the kids were babies i had the same methodology. Rubber bumpers when they were learning to walk. It they hurt themselves. Well i wouldn't have to wish i'd done more. We recently had some BG's break in with body armor. I don't want to spend the rest of my life wishing i'd done more. :embarrassed2: ^-^
