Nice conversion! I need to post some pics of my converted Saiga.
You've taken yours on step further with thread the muzzle for a brake. I still haven't done that to mine.
  7. I like that stock. Tell us about it.
  8. Nice looking conversion. Does moving the fire control group change everything from the saiga style FTG to the less complicated ak style?

Yeah when you move the trigger foward you replace all the trigger parts with aftermarket USA made parts for an AK. I used a tapco G2. The trigger pull is much better than the stock saiga trigger with the weird linkage it uses. The stock I used is just a cheap synthetic stock I got from . It was sort of shiny when I got it so I took some of the shine off of it with some superfine sandpaper. Oh and thanks for all the kind words.

Looks great.... How would you rate the difficultly level of doing it ?? I read and read on the topic and thought about doing it myself to cure my need for a .308 battle rifle

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 5. If you are a little bit handy and can use a drill you should have no problem. I too have thought about getting a saiga .308
