Finished my conversion on my Saiga 7.62x39
Nice, best value in AKs IMO.
TOE ALERT!!!! I SEE TOES!!!!! LMAO!!!
Nice Saiga! Sorry, but it cracks me up when people take pics and get toes in the picture.... LOL!!!
hehe I didn't even notice the toes in the picture. At least you couldn't see that I wasn't wearing pants
   THANK HEAVENS
Nice conversion! I need to post some pics of my converted Saiga.
You've taken yours on step further with thread the muzzle for a brake. I still haven't done that to mine.
I like that stock. Tell us about it.
Nice looking conversion. Does moving the fire control group change everything from the saiga style FTG to the less complicated ak style?
Yeah when you move the trigger foward you replace all the trigger parts with aftermarket USA made parts for an AK. I used a tapco G2. The trigger pull is much better than the stock saiga trigger with the weird linkage it uses. The stock I used is just a cheap synthetic stock I got from http://akpartskits.com/store/produc...id=27&osCsid=b630b4d868bde69df787e4efe0c1bd38 . It was sort of shiny when I got it so I took some of the shine off of it with some superfine sandpaper. Oh and thanks for all the kind words.
Just for you PrimalSeal:
ROFLMFAO!!!!!! Oh I love it!
Please translate. :?
Oh, by the way I love your Saiga.
Hey, at least you are wearing pants in that picture!!!!
Yeah thats just something I like to do when I'm not in the shower.
Looks great.... How would you rate the difficultly level of doing it ?? I read and read on the topic and thought about doing it myself to cure my need for a .308 battle rifle
On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 5. If you are a little bit handy and can use a drill you should have no problem. I too have thought about getting a saiga .308
