Just wanted to report on my first time at the range. I am a C9 owner and a new shooter. I had a blast. As of right now I can proudly say that I am a terrible shot

I ran 100 rounds through a single mag in an hour and only had two failure to feeds. Which I feel is pretty good for a gun that I have not cleaned and have been carrying for almost a year.

All that being said holy crap is that trigger heavy! Any tips to lighten that up? I fired my buddy's S&W 40 cal and was waaaaay more accurate.

oh and here is some paper that wont be causing anyone any more trouble

Hello and welcome to the site! The trigger on all my Hi Points seem pretty good actually, but I like that "revolver" like trigger pull.

You carried the gun for a year without firing it? Or you've just had it for a year? Carrying a gun you've never fired is kind of dangerous. None the less the c9 is a good pistol. Once you get used to the trigger, you'll find you're much more accurate with it.
