So my friend just got one of the slide fire stocks and brought it over to try it for the first time. He went with a mag dump and I tried a burst pattern.
Overall it's easy to use but will take a bit of practice to get any sort of accuracy more than about 25 yards.

  2. A friend has one on his AK. When I stand back and watch at about 75 yards and see rounds going 10/12 feet high over the target and its 20/25 rounds out of 30. I think I'll stick to my controlled fire and ensure a higher hit ratio

I just picked up an ssar15 stock cheap. I am hoping I can get it to function on a 10-22 with a nordic kit. If not that, for sure on my beater AR ( dpms slick side), maybe with the Chiappa. 22 upper installed.
I know accuracy has to suck with the whole gun rocking around, but the price was right (100 plus 10 shipping) so I can look at it as a fun enhancer.

  7. I shot a Slide fire two or 3 years ago. It was a Hoot, I loved it.
Definitely worth the $125 or so they go for used now.

Is it as good as Full auto? 3 rd burst? No way, But it doesn't Cost $20,000 and a Form 4 ATF reaming.
