Anyone had any problems running JHP through 4595TS? I received a new 4595TS today and looking for advice as to best feeding ammo in my new rifle without my own trial and error routine. All advice appreciated.

No real specialist here but I'd recommend that you start with FMJ's. Couple of hundred rounds to break everything in.
    Then go with hollow points.

I was thinking FMJ too. Most semi-automatics run better with FMJ (I think). Wondering if anyone has has trouble with the JHP in this particular rifle???

I have used a few Remington golden sabers in my 4595 with no issues, but I only have a couple of boxes, mostly FMJ as it is cheap and makes a hole.

Never understood why people waste money killing targets with hollow points.

Fired rifle today. Seven JHP, thirty-two FMJ (230 grain). The JHP were plus P. Both fed flawlessly. 4595TS is a great rifle. Will tend to use the FMJ though.

I use HP bullets from extreme and they work great.

    Thought: FMJ plus P.

  11. First 180 or so rnds through my 4595TS were FMJ. Also tried some Hi-Tek coated 230 grn LRN. All worked great. Next range trip I'll put another 100 or so 230 grn FMJ through it, and then try some Win 1911's (230 grn JHP). They work flawlessly in my wood and steel 1911, and that's what I use for my carry ammo. I'm hoping they'll do the same in the carbine. The reason? Not to waste ammo on paper, but to test the carbines' function with them. If it's all good, that's what I'll load for HD.

They run fine in my 4595.. If your planning on using self defense loads.. It'll run them.. mine runs Tula for paper punching

+P puts wear on the gun that isn't needed other than HD or testing purposes. I have run everything under the sun except the Tula in my 4595, and JHP. They just eat everything
