Made the first 3 out of 6 belt pouches for a client. They each hold 2x FN FAL 7.62 magazines, are retained by elastic and buckle flaps. Each pouch has a divider in the middle, and all mount to a standard belt.

Completed the remaining 3 pouches for the client. Now the client can carry 12x 20rd FN FAL metal magazines on his belt kit. These are basically handmade to specs provided by the client, and took me a while to measure, cut, and sew the hems before putting the hardware and webbing bits on.

I'll echo Visper on his sentiment. You made some really nice pouches, but damn, 240 rounds is a lot of .308 to be hauling around. I hope he's actually getting those pouches to share with some other people, too--especially when he's hauling it on a belt, or he'll have his pants being dragged down around his ass.

I asked him if he needed D rings on them, he said nope. eh, I'm hoping he's got 2 to 3 belt kits for them and not all at once

Suspenders. That'll do it.
According to guys that were there, the green berets in Viet Nam were hauling 20 mags of 19, plus a 30 loaded to 28 in the gun. Used extra canteen covers instead of pouches. The suspenders held it all up.
